Good afternoon, jjdm, SteelPenny, trugas, and attitash!

jjdm, nice that you and the gals got to watch the Sox win in extra innings. A fireworks show sounds nice, too.

SteelPenny, are you watching the race? Hubby is; there's about 15 laps to go and Kyle Busch is winning. Off-road truck racing? <shakes head> Naaaaah! Hubby's not into that.

trugas, I think you said they'd already adjusted the pool temp, didn't they? Now all you need to see is whether the office stays open when it's supposed to (and you can get your laundry card filled).

attitash, too many people out there getting hurt, huh? No frost warnings here, though the temp IS supposed to be in the low 50s tonight.

Claudie - and CBS is having an hour of Lucas Off-Road Truck racing this afternoon.
Dirt track - a basic loop much like a motorcycle track. The trucks go thru the turns sideways - and they do jumps. El-neat-o.

Morning Claudie:
l know the promises can be resended, but some have already started, and some have been accomplished. So l am happy and more than hopeful. At any rate l can adjust as l am basically a rule follower and therefore don't have much problem anywhere l have lived as long as they do their work also.

This laundry card thing was a real problem and got worse. If the machine in the office is available during office hours, and the office is open all day 9 to 5, then one has no excuse to not get their cards filled.
l have been there in the past at least three times before l found the machine available, meaning the office was locked when it should have been open. If that one thing and the pool temp is corrected then l will have no complaints. Smile.

Good morning, Claudie! I hope so too. Enjoy your easy going weekend!

Today’s Picture! "Sleeping Car"

Today’s Picture! "Roomette"

Yesterday afternoon I had a few errands to run. One of those errands was washing my car....I wanted it to look extra good since Marija, Ana, and I were taking it to the White Sox game. :) At 1:15 pm, I left for Winfield, Indiana, to pick up Marija and Ana. Around 2 pm, I got there...but the girls were still getting ready. Before heading to Chicago, we decided to grab some lunch in Merrillville, Indiana. The restaurant choice was T.G.I.F., my first time ever being in one! For appetizer, I had the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. It was pretty good, but I preferred Marija’s appetizer, Spinach Florentine Flatbread. For my entree, I enjoyed Chicken & Shrimp with mashed potatoes...yummm!! We had a very great waiter who was super nice....so he got a large tip from us. :)

After lunch, we were off to Chicago to U.S. Cellular Field. We got there around 5:20 pm, and walked to Gate 3. A little after 5:30 pm, they opened the gates and we went right to our seats. For the next 30 minutes we took pictures and looked around the whole field. This was Ana’s first time to a baseball game and Marija’s second. By 6:15 pm, I was hungry again, so I had a hot dog and nachos with cheese. Drinks (even water) were way overpriced, so I didn’t get any. The game went very well and was fun to watch! The Sox came back from a 2-0 deficit and were ahead 3-2. But then the Mariners tied it up to 3-3.

As it became dark, I got to see the full moon, had the perfect view. Even though it was near June, the temps were under 50 degrees and it was very cold. That made watching the game a little uncomfortable during the last few innings. :( The game went into extra innings. At the end of the 10th inning, the bases were loaded with Sox, but the player grounded into a double play. :( After that inning about ?th of the people left. By thankfully in the 11th inning the White Sox scored a run and we won 4-3!!!! After the game, we enjoyed a nice fireworks show.

After the game I asked Marija and Ana how they enjoyed the game....they loved it and can’t wait for the next game!!! But next time we will wait until later in the summer when we know that the temps will be warmer. ;) Once the game was finished, I dropped them back off at their house and then went back home. Fabulous day it was! You will see pictures from the White Sox game at a later time.

This morning I called into the radio station to give my gas prediction for the week. Since then I’ve been getting ready for my day...I work 12 pm - 8 pm. After that I will go to the movies with a couple of friends (Chris and Nick).

Have a nice day!

Hello, grmoore, dickc49, 6642337, SteelPenny, DsplacdToledoan, trevor, Scanman, and MusicTeacher!

grmoore, have a fun time at the zoo and at lunch with the grand-girls! It's a beautiful day for it!

dick, so since it was raining today you decided to do the stove shopping today instead of another day? Hope you find something you like.

SteelPenny, yup, looks like that race is this afternoon. You watching it?

DsplacdToledoan, hmmmmm, almost another no-hitter, I see. Seems like a lot of those already this year.

Scanman, it was rather cool this morning, too; about 50° when I checked the thermometer. Sun is shining brightly, and if it stays that way into the night, I'll be able to see that Flower Moon easily!

MusicTeacher, that's good that you've got permission to remove the 2 cactus plants from your former church space. Will you just keep them at your house until you get another place to worship?

6642337 and trevor, thanks for stopping in!

Good Morning, Claudie ♫ Have a great start to the Memorial Day weekend of staying home and locally. My family and I are doing the same.

Wow, you and your Husband surely had lots of holiday traffic on your way back home yesterday!

Thankfully all five of my Students showed up and did well on their lessons yesterday! :-)

For our Memorial Day weekend, my Parents and I don't have any big plans for the holiday weekend. We will be staying home and locally throughout the weekend.

Today I plan on a full day of tasks and errands. This morning my Mom and I will revisit our former Church site to remove an agave cactus plant and another cactus plant that we left there after our lease was terminated. Last Wednesday after our Prayer Meeting in the Park, we asked permission from the Landlord for us to remove the remaining plants in our former Church Garden, and he okayed it.

Have a Great Saturday!

hope your guys do well against the Mets. meanwhile lightning strikes again for the tigers, and then bites us hard, in this clip the Tigers got a home run that would have been a spectacular out had he timed his jump perfectly. but Sanchez was on his game and took a no hitter into the 9th, for the 3rd time in his career, Joe Mauer broke up a no hit bid with one out in the 9th, no mistake about it - it was a clean hit, that guy is a pitcher's nightmare when the pitcher faces him in the ninth trying to take a no no into the clubhouse

Hi Claudie - From my local ABC station (please note that the time is CDT, not EDT...)
1:45 PM (today)
NASCAR Nationwide Series History 300 from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. (HD, TV-G) Brad Keselowski completed the final 73 laps without a pit stop and held off Denny Hamlin to take the checkered flag last year, averaging 123.414 mph.

Good morning Claudie,
Up in Maine and boy is it raining! We have a nor'easter forming off the coast and will see snow this weekend in the mountains. It will be an elevation event so you will need to be at 1-2 thousand feet to see it. We are at 1,100 feet so we might see some tomorrow morning, but the mountain we are next to will probably be white on top. I have skis to service today, and we are going stove shopping. Good rainy day projects!

Enjoy your long weekend!

Greetings Claudie/others:

Happy Saturday! 56 degrees this morning and high only going up to upper 60's/low 70's (in Hot-lanta, GA). Someone forgot to tell the earth about "global warming......"

Glad the long weekend has arrived. We're going to the zoo to meet the grand-girls this morning and have lunch with all.

Off to breakfast and start the day.

Have a great day all!

Good Saturday morning, HouHrl, MidnightSun, senile, USMCturtlehead, JM, and hmcsretired07!

MidnightSun, that Netflix sure is a winner, isn't it? :)

USMCturtlehead, sounds like a big, fun party today for granddaughter's graduation. Me? Yes, I'm on the go waaaaaaay too much of the time! This weekend has NO plans! Have fun eating all that Italian food (and more)!

JM, I'm thinking the ticket prices will be going UP once the new stadium is ready. Leaving today, right? Have a safe trip to Orlando!

Good Morning Claudie!

Today should be sunny and warm here in NC. Which means good news for Granddaughters' Graduation party.

No idea how many people will be there but just immediate family should number close to around 40 or 50. Heard they rented a big water slide, I guess the graduates want a last fling at enjoying childhood that is slipping away. Then on to college and the harder part of life.

Should be plenty of good food to eat. I believe going with Italian Style Theme, but I know there will many other dishes as well. Wife is preparing 3 Lasagna dishes. Thats about all I know, keep my nose out of kitchen unless I'm cooking.

Claudie just from scanning your post I see you are constantly on the go. Hope you get to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Good morning Claudie!

Good the get the other 25% of the lawn with its 10' grass cut. Yes, the rest of the lawn needed to be re-mowed, a couple of days ago. The lawn is soaked and soil is saturated. It is a sponge that is at its capacity.

It poured yesterday morning and is raining on the light side of moderate now. The rain bounced off the roof and was very loud. Did more paperwork hoping the rain would end soon. It did not. Did some housework.

Got to watch some ol' shows on Netflix, Columbo featuring Dick Van Dyke as the murderer and The Twilight Zone with the great Ed Wynn in a wonderful episode that saves a little girl's life.

Had a refreshing 90 minute nap, then strolled thru the gardens looking for slugs on plants. The lawn was nice and too soaked to mow. Some of the flowers are blooming, the broccoli, tomatoes and berries on their way to a banner year.

Thankfully the humidity was at 97% w/o rain to further prevent me from mowing. Everything is so green and plush. Even the birds are happy, singing their beautiful song.

Sad to see more rain for the next few days. We are up to just over 5" of rain for the month. Monday is to be a return to the sun with a very cool day in the forecast.

The temp is 44° with the high to be 40°. There is a 90% chance of rain. It is raining on the light side of moderate. More rain and a frost overnight and more rain tomorrow, then back to sun.

Have a delightful day!

Good evening, Mrs. Wrench, SteelPenny, trugasCA, DsplacdToledoan, yankie, and Robustus!

Mrs. Wrench, it was chilly here today, too; windy, but it did warm up to the high 70s. It still felt way cooler b/c of that wind. Hope the MRIs help determine why you're having problems in your feet and legs and up into your back.

SteelPenny, yes, the races are on Sunday, though, there IS a Nationwise race on TV tomorrow at 2:30 PM ET. It's called the History 300 and is also at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, It may be on ABC, too.

trugas, hooray for you'all! Sounds like some changes will be coming up. It's one thing to talk about them, though; let's see if the changes actually ARE made.

DsplacdToledoan, good for the Tigers. I can say that now only b/c they're in the AL and we're not playing them. Braves are playing the Mets this weekend.

yankie, yeah, bad, bad traffic on ALL roads today! Glad we got home when we did. Have no plans to go anywhere either.

Robustus, you have to work, however late it is, so hoping your mom can deal with you just calling. That's better than nothing. She'll just have to make do with seeing you on the other 3 days. That's a shame that your dad isn't able to visit with your mom b/c of his disabilities, size, and stubborness. Sad. :(

Time for me to sign out for the night.

Good night, everybuddy!

Good evening Claudie!

Another long day between work and visiting my mom.

Today appeared to be better with her situation there. She's still not very happy at the conditions, but she's trying to cope with it. Having me there to visit helps out a lot. Unfortunately, I found out it is about 40 miles from where I live to where's she's at. So, it is going to be very difficult to see her everyday.

Speaking of difficult. The good news is that I have more hours next week at work. However, I will be working longer shifts. They have me down to work 12-7 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. So, the bad news, is that it probably won't be possible to visit my mom those days. So, I hope she can mind me calling her instead.

Anyway, what is making it really difficult is my dad. The hospital visits weren't difficult since I was able to grab a wheelchair from the lobby or ask someone who works there for one. But, this facility doesn't provide wheelchairs for guests or they don't have one that will accommodate his size. Therefore, he's driving him and me down there, but he sits in the car while I'm inside visiting. He can walk a little bit with the aid of crutches. He's really supposed to use a walker, but too stubborn to do so. Therefore, due to his disability, it is making my life miserable dealing with his needs along with mine and this situation! It is frustrating to go into any further details.

By the way, I drove down there myself today after work. So, I got off at 4, and got there around 5. I visited until about 7:30 and then grabbed a bite to eat on the way home. So, I just got home about a half hour ago. I do plan trying to drive myself tomorrow so, I don't have to deal with my dad too much. I love him, but I can only do so much!

Greetings and salutations y'all..well can attest to bad traffic at 2:00 PM heading north on 285 to 400, and looking over the median would say the same applied for those heading south on 285 trying to go north on 85. Understand that 75/85 on the south end was equally as bad and of course as you well know 75 south and 675 North & South to and from 285 was a total disaster.....so gather you were lucky getting beck before it got really bad.

glad you had an easy visit to fix a problem quickly with your dentist

wanna see a team that has things going their way right now? Tiger's page

Tiger's have won 3 straight against Cleveland, and last night's game could have gone either way, but if you look at the video of Prince Fielder's go ahead single (currently available in the above link), he hit a double play ball back up the middle but the pitcher managed to get his glove on it, the second baseman had to reverse and dive for it but it was out of his reach and the Tiger's took a 7-6 lead, had the pitcher not gotten his glove on the ball it was a sure double play and we both know how double plays kill innings

Hi Claudie; Good news the tenants won pretty much everything we asked for. Dog area where they can run free, they just need to choose a spot. Benches will be placed in all areas where there is a place and there are many. The office staff will be replaced and the office will remain open all day no closing at lunch and "paper work" time. So the laundry machine will always be available as well as the community room. No more closing the office to go out on the grounds as there will be adequate staff available so someone will be there at all times. The temperature in the daytime til dusk will be set on a timer to keep it at 80 degrees. The awful grass landscaping which she informed us was over a million dollars at the time, is to be replaced. l just couldn't be happier.

Good afternoon Claudie, hope your trip to hubby's sister's was a good one & she was glad to get the mower. Also hope you got your Subway sub today. We haven't been to SW much, maybe two or three times.

Boy! is it cold here today it's 56 degrees but very windy which makes it feel colder. I told Wrench I can't seem to get warm & I have the heat up to 75 degrees, he told me the air was still on from the other day that's way I'm not getting warm. Dumb Dumb me not looking.

My appointment for the back MRI was for 7:30 so had to get out by 7:10 because of school bus traffic, got right in & out by 8:30 than off to Denny's for breakfast, a stop at Big Lots & Save A Lot than home for lunch. I see the Neurologist on Tuesday afternoon. I'm going to take some reports of other MRI's from a couple years ago. I've been told I have 2 herniated disc, one in my neck & one in my low back, the one in neck is pressing on the spinal cord. I'm not planning on any surgery but I'm trying to find out why I'm getting numbness in my feet & legs up into my back

Have a great holiday weekend. no plans for us so far, maybe D & SIL will come for a cook out on Monday afternoon if he' not working. Monday 27th would be my Dad's 117th birthday & he also passed away on his birthday in 1974, it also was my oldest sisters birthday.

Wow!! We FINALLY made it home!

No problems going up to hubby's sister's house; made good time (no traffic), and got there about 10:30. Hung around until noon, knowing that we needed to get back on the road before Friday/holiday traffic started up. We actually left their house about noon and were making good time until we got about 15 miles from home (on the interstate) Heavy, heavy traffic, but we finally made it to where the Subway was about 1:15; it was busy in there, too! :(

And now we're finally home! Thank goodness!

Hello, 6642337, Scanman, Farful, FULL OF FUN, doc, trugasCA, SteelPenny, MusicTeacher, jjdm, dickc49, JM, and roadjet!

6642337, thanks for stopping in!

Scanman, good luck with the doctor's appointment!

Farful and FULL OF FUN, I saw a male hummer yesterday...for the first time in weeks. I think I read somewhere that it might be b/c this is nesting time. I hope they hurry up and hatch those babies!

doc, it's about 80° here and breezy; feels a lot cooler than that, though.

trugas, hope you get some good news at the BBQ; can't wait to hear it. The mulch we put down is dark black; we chose that color b/c the trim on our house is black. Were you wanting them to put down the red mulch? That would have added color.

SteelPenny, yes, the Charlotte race is the Coca Cola 600, and it starts at 6 PM ET...on FOX.

MusicTeacher, hope all 5 of your students show up today.

jjdm, oh, no! Bad news about your dad being fired. Hope that Al's will hire your dad to fill the vacant position.

dick, ooohhh, man! A grandkid-free weekend for you, too! Wonderful, right? I won't have a kid-free weekend, though, b/c Son lives with us for the moment. He should be working all day tomorrow, though, but i don't know about Monday.

JM, I will not find out about extra tickets (for the people sitting around us) until preseason. Even then, I'm going to try and sell the preseason tickets. I will keep my ears open, though.

roadjet, I think my dentist will be retiring in the close-coming years and I am not sure what I will do about it then. Don't know if he'll hire someone to take his place or sell the practice. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Afternoon Claudie. That sounds like me too. My first and only dentist was my parents that I started seeing in the early 70's and he started only working 2 half days a week on his way to retirement even though he was going strong in his 80's.

just my wife and I are heading to Maine this weekend. I will bring my ski equipment back north with me as Killington will close for the season on Sunday so I will not be getting back out any more. I WAS hoping for next weekend, their stated goal, but with so much rain in the last 10 days the snow is melting too fast. :>( She and I will enjoy a quiet weekend. I will service the skis Saturday and Sunday and we will also go to the Rumford appliance store and look at new electric ranges as the one at the townhouse is a 1986 model and needs to be replaced as the broiler has quit, and the rest is just OLD. We will also do a bit of "poking" around the area for something to do.
With the two home based kids staying home I will have built in cat feeders and house guards. It will also mean we have a totally kid free weekend. No kids, no grandkids. The other son is doing who knows what this weekend, and our other daughter is heading off camping in NH.
I hope you have a quiet and enjoyable Memorial day weekend.

Good morning, Claudie! Oh I could tell, their faces lit up when they saw the children! :)

Today’s Picture! "Here Comes the Train"

Today’s Picture! "The Train"

So yesterday our family found out some bad news....Dad got fired. Last week Dad worked the weekend as always, but was called in the evening because a guest pooped in the pool. Well, when Dad got to the hotel, the guests that pooped in the pool were still playing in the pool. Dad asked them to the leave the pool so he could clean the pool. For some reason the guests were offended by this. They started to leave and Dad began to clean up the pool area by picking up some towels. The guests then yelled out of nowhere “don’t throw towels at us”. Dad was dumbfounded, he was picking them up, not throwing them. Later on the kids of those same guests were running on the elevator and all over the hotel. Dad asked them to stop and the kids said “We’re telling our parents that you are being rude to us”. Lastly, Dad discovered that these guests were grilling on the patio, which they are not allowed to do. Dad kindly let them know that, and they responded “You are the rudest person ever, we are telling the owner about this”.

Recently the hotel got a new owner, and this owner has been firing a lot of the old workers. Well, the owner got the compliant and did not want to hear Dad’s side. He said the guest is always right and told the supervisor to fire Dad. :(

After listening to Dad tell his story, I went to David’s house. We decided to go see the movie “The Great Gatsby”, so this was my 3rd time seeing it. This is my favorite movie of all time, so I didn’t mind seeing it again! I’ll actually be seeing it a 4th time. :) After leaving David’s house, I went to give Katie a ride to work. Car ride full of conversation as always. Then I came home and got ready for work myself. Before starting work, I talked with the assistant manager Jackie and asked her for a favor....if she could hire my Dad for 2 days a week (that’s what he was doing at the hotel). Jackie did say there was a spot open for Janitorial Maintenance and she would talk with the manager. :)

I worked 5 pm - 12:30 am in grocery. Rev. Kevin and I began by filling the 24 packs of water that were on sale ($1.98 each). They were flying off the shelves! Then we faced Aisles 12-10; 8-5. When we got to Aisle 5, I went to Dairy for 30 minutes and filled a couple of sale items. After that Rev. Kevin and I went on break. When we got back we faced Aisles 4-1 and filled the water again. Then we took our 2nd break. For the next 2 hours, I filled sale items in the Dairy Department. Since I spent so much time in Dairy, I stayed over 30 minutes to help Rev. Kevin reface the store. I checked the numbers, we were up from the projections for the 2nd day in a row!!! I ended up giving Katie a ride home too. :)

Have a great day!

Good Morning, Claudie ♫ I am glad the Dental Assistant was able to reglue your loose crown at the Dentist's Office!

Have a nice visit with your Husband to his Sister's Home, errands, and then perhaps a Subway lunch out with him afterward!

Regarding why I am having Thursdays off in May, my one and only Student for that day had to cancel for the entire month of May because of a Mandatory month long training at his job. He and many of his Co-Workers were very disappointed by this, as May is a busy time for families with graduations, vacations, etc., and many had to give up attending graduations of family and even their pre-planned vacations too. He will definitely be returning for Thursday lessons in June. The siblings used to take lessons on Thursdays, but they have moved to Wednesdays.

Today is my busiest teaching day of the week with five Students to teach starting at 2:00 PM. I plan on doing my tasks and any errands as needed before I start teaching this afternoon.

Have a Wonderful Friday!

Claudie - Is the Charlotte race the 600 mile race that was usually run just a few hours after the Indy 500 ? For a while there used to be a driver that did the Indy race and then jetted off to the next race. 1,100 miler in one day. I'm sure he missed the driver's meeting right before the 2nd race.

I should wait to post Claudie until after the "Tenant's Appreciation BBQ" today because rumor has it that the District Manager is supposed to be there and with some improvement news.

Right now they are spreading mulch (one of our issues) which looks like charcoal all around the front of the complex. l laugh at this because we asked for color and they choose a gloomy dark thing to add to all the gray or tan grass clumps. Sound cheerful?

l am going to the bbq, which l normally do not. l went to one when l first moved in and got a hot dog plain, store bought awful potato salad and a slice of watermelon. l have been eating watermelon and giving it away for 2 days and don't care for any more. l had 2 long hot dogs yesterday and l made a great one potato salad. LOL. But IF there is a chance that some info will be given, l want to hear first hand, not what people think was said. No one knows where it is to be held, but will take a guess of the community room at noon when it is usually locked. (One of our issues.)

Good morning, FULL OF FUN and attitash!

FULL OF FUN, you had your long weekend last weekend and now it's time for ours. :) Yeah, I know y'all's gas is much more expensive than ours and I shouldn't complain. However when places around you (or on the north side of Atlanta) are paying 20 or 30¢ lower than you are, well, I just wonder, where are the low prices? I do know that in GA, we have a 'suumer blend' that they start selling around now (don't know if they've started yet, though), and that usually increases the price. Have a fun time on your date night! :)

attitash, okay, now I see; you get paid extra for those education days. May be alright then. :)

Okee dokee! Off to have breakfast and then heading out.

I did forget to mention that before we actually go to hubby's sister's house, we need to stop at the kaiser place (for hubby) first and then Mom's (to give her the prescription I got at WM yesterday and her laundry. It IS all on the way north.

good morning, TGIF no long weekend for us up here, its very cold today and we have a north wind so it will not get much better all day, our gas prices run around $4.60-$4.90US per US gal. so to me your gas is really cheeeeeeepppppp.
We had sojuicy chicken last night, its sooooo gooooood if you can get it down your way, you coat the chicken and pop it in a bag and bake it in the oven. really good, we had chips (fry's) and peas with it very easy meal to cook and so scrummy, for dessert we had some of that sweet and salty popcorn instead of ice cream, we are trying to eat less ice cream.

We watched corry then Oh Brother were art thou, such a good movie one of TOH fav's.

Tonight is date night, not sure if we are doing fish and chips or Chinese.
yet.

Have a great day

Good morning, DsplacdToledoan, Robustus, Farful, MidnightSun, hmcsretired07, USMCturtlehead, scout, TUrtLE, grmoore, and senile!

DsplacdToledoan, I was right, thinking one of my crowns was in the process of loosening up. The dental assistant found which one it was and popped it right off; then she glued it right back on. :)

Robustus, I really don't know much about rehab places, so I can't say anything. I'm agreeing with you, though; your mom will just have to live with it for the month she's there. I really don't know if they'd move her.

Farful, it feels a lot cooler this morning, though, when I looked at the thermometer, it was about the same as it's been the past few mornings. I believe the difference is that the humidity is lower and there's a slight breeze.

MidnightSun, glad you got the rest of the lawn mowed, but it's time to mow the other ¾, isn't it?

hmcsretired, I'm hoping to have an uneventful weekend.

USMCturtlehead, I know what you mean about the difference in the gas prices among states. South Carolina's are a lot lower than ours are and it doesn't seem fair to me either. Glad the graduation went well. On to the party (tomorrow night)!

scout, Baltimore, huh? I have a niece who lives there; she goes to John Hopkins. Thanks for the Friday music.

TUrtLE, I knew the full moon was soon! Since we've been having clear skies at night, I can see it, big and bright!

grmoore, hoping the prices will go back down some after this holiday weekend. Can't wait to see if the prices down by my interstate exit are still in the $3.40s. <crosses fingers>

senile, thanks for stopping in!

Hubby and I are going up to his sister's house (on the northwestern side of Atlanta) for a very short trip. He'll be delivereing a push lawn mower to them that he's been working on/fixing and I'm going along to see the house that they now live in (they moved there several months ago). We'll stay a coupla hours (mostly to make sure we get in and out of Atlanta before any traffic mounts up) and then head on back towards home. I think I'll try to talk hubby into stopping at Subway for lunch. :) Other than that, there are no definite plans until Monday! :)

Good Morning Claudie and Friends.

Claudie, be thankful. Gas here runs about $3.99. I paid $4.13 in Calif on vacation.

The next full moon is May 25th @12:25AM EDT.

It is named the Full Flower Moon because flowers are
abundant everywhere during this time. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon.

Let us know if you are able to view this full moon.

Please be careful and be safe as you're out and about on this long holiday weekend.
