The glaciers and Eagles and all the exciting new views. So much water. Wonder whatever happened to that idea of filling big rubber bladders and floating water down the coast to sell?

I took lots of pictures, from waterfalls to flowers, to lumberjacks at a dinner show. It was a very pleasant time and we didn't want to leave. :-)

Many pleasant memories. Some l just drove around Oregon with no plans, no reservations. Stopping when l felt like it and taking pictures of flowers, lakes, rivers etc whatever hit my fancy.

Not much for the weather, but saw things l never saw anywhere else that l have been. Eagles. Salmon spawning. Totem poles. Glaciers. My son flew out and landed on a glacier. No thanks. l fell in love with British Columbia. That's where l saw my first whale, tho they travel up and down our CA coast.

But the very best was a 12-day raft run down the Colorado River through Grand Canyon.
