what?!?!?! Coal freaking sucks!!! Do you know anyone who lives next to a coal power plant?!?! EXACTLY!!! Coal RUINS any possibility for living a HEALTHY LIFE - solar is clean! Figure it out, over the long run solar costs less, pollutes less, and is RENEWABLE... Sure coal is cheap today, but look at the negative economic impact it has on HEALTHCARE!!! Quality of life becomes an oxymoron when coal power plants enter the picture!

Unbelievable.

Solar is not a cure all. Combined with other green technologies is the answer.

Investors taking money off the table for solar and viewing coal as a value play.

I believe it as wind is a much better green technology than solar. My backyard lighting is 90% solar and is top of the line quality. I'm disappointed with it as there is often not enough sun to keep the batteries charged up.

Coal is proven and reliable. Solar, while good when the sun shines, is far less dependable.

It ain't their money they are investing, its the bribes they are taking that they are investing - and not in coal either.

Coal beats solar financially in hard economic times. Coal is a proven, cheap energy source, and solar is an expensive niche market. Wall Street isn't commenting about the environment, they're making money.

Although alternative is being preached, many vote with their feet and move away from alternative to proven coal when their money is involved.
