You got fan mail?

by OilBGone  Nov 18, 2009

Did you get that floor mat out of your Toyota yet? LOL...sorry I've not been around much lately but thanks for the kudos, I still do read my mail!

I hope that didn't sound offensive. I must admit I came home from my longest succession of work days ever and probably shouldn't have posted in haste. I saw the 1939 date and reacted. Then read the article and found it fascinating. It was refreshing to see news relevent to this site not necessarily having to be current to entertain and provoke thought.

GM gave me a slap "again" for posting duplicate articles. I didn't but he has nothing else to do but follow me around. Recently he took my privileges away "permanently" for accessing the MSL. This has been going on for about a year. Just waiting for my next slap on the hands.

Well not American are hard to get along with but we do have more than our share. As long as everyone keeps it cicil thendifferent opinions are good. Canada's oil, America's oil whoevers oil...its a global problem. Somebody has to step up and develop alternative energy that is affordable. BTW, I have many Canadian friends and I've visited there myself a few times. Beautiful country and very nice people but ya'll got a funky accent.

Thanks. With electric cars becoming more common in the market, I think it is time we consider all ways of making electricity as forms of transportation fuel. And this trend is likely to continue IMHO. At least until we have some tremendous advancement in hydrogen technology. The sooner the better.

It is with much regret that I know I'll be right again. I'm rethinking all of my priorities as a result of it all. Try to help your children and others while you can. Try to save money, set it aside, invest it and make it grow. Keep extra food and other things you need on hand. When they double in price, you'll be glad you did and you'll be ahead of everyone else.

Again, as I've said before, reduce your energy useage where possible; at home in the house and with the vehicle(s) you own as well. Look for ways to improve upon your vehicle and ways to reduce your energy needs at home and invest in your home as well. Cutting back and reducing your electric or other utility bills by 20% or more will add up fast, especially when those bills go up by 30% or more as they will.

Thanks for the link about EV's. Props to the pioneers of the new technology!

What you write to everyone whos answer you don't like? Welcome to America. You get your opinion and I get mine. IMO it still looks like something that belongs on craigslist. Feel free to post whatever you like and I'll do the same.
